Fee Schedule

RETAINER $500

The retainer must be received prior to commencement of any investigation. The retainer will be credited towards the final bill.

COLLISION RECONSTRUCTION / INVESTIGATION $200/hr

All consultations (except the initial consultation) and investigative actions including but not limited to scene assessment, photo/video documentation, evidence analysis, calculations, diagramming, animations, and report preparation.

EXPERT WITNESS FEES $250/hr

Court testimony, depositions, arbitration hearings including stand-by time will be billed as actual time (no daily minimum set).

A cancellation fee of $125 may be assessed if notification of a cancellation is received less than three (3) business days before the scheduled court/appearance date.

EVENT DATA RECORDER DOWNLOAD (COMING SOON) $150/vehicle

If specialized equipment needs to be contracted for a specific vehicle download, the associated cost will be discussed with the client beforehand.

TRAVEL FEES $100/hr

Covers fuel, mileage, tolls, and parking. If out-of-state travel requires an overnight stay, airfare, lodging, and rental car will be billed at actual cost.

Rates effective 12/14/2022.

**Compensation will be made in accordance with terms in the Service Agreement. Once an invoice is submitted, payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Any fee that is outstanding thirty (30) or more days past the date of the invoice is subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month. ARCAS Consulting reserves the right to cancel the contract and discontinue services if balances remain unpaid for more than thirty (30) days. Invoices will be paid by the client regardless of the result of investigative findings, or decisions rendered in litigation.
